Director of Operations

Herby has over a decade of experience contributing to various education and health focused humanitarian organizations throughout Haiti, including in Port-au-Prince, Jacmel, Les Cayes, and Gonaives. Herby has also supported emergency response initiatives in fast-paced environments, where deadlines are a priority and handling multiple tasks is the norm. From working in city environments to rural areas, he has become seasoned in dealing with the infrastructure challenges that are often encountered in these different types of terrain.

Skilled in program support roles such as fleet management, procurement, warehousing, security, and IT, Herby’s hands-on experience and practical knowledge of operations management is an incredible asset to the work of Lide. Amidst Haiti’s constant struggles of insecurity, fuel shortages, civil unrest, and natural disasters, Herby is applying his knowledge and dedication towards contributing to Lidè ‘s efforts to promote educational initiatives for adolescent girls and women who have been denied equal access to quality education.
