Soeurette Rigodon
Country Director
Soeurette Rigodon is a dedicated professional with a background in psychology and a passion for empowering girls and young women in rural areas. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Rigodon began her journey as an educator for children living on the streets, providing them with education and support.
In 2024, Rigodon joined LIDE as a counselor, quickly rising to the position of program coordinator within a year. During this time, she gained valuable experience and insights into the challenges faced by underserved communities. Her dedication and commitment led to her appointment as the deputy director of the arts program, where she received training in creative writing and photography.
Currently serving as the country director of LIDE Haiti, Soeurette is deeply passionate about photography and documentary work. Through these mediums, she strives to amplify the voices of women in underserved communities, allowing them to share their stories with the world and feel heard.
Rigodon's aspirations include obtaining a degree in gender studies and program management, further enhancing her ability to create meaningful change and advocate for the rights and empowerment of women.
With a background in psychology, extensive experience in program coordination, and a passion for storytelling, Rigodon Soeurette continues to make a significant impact in the lives of girls and young women, working towards a more inclusive and equitable society.
